Because there WERE no animals in the walk-through part. Well, we thought, that was really disappointing! But at least we can see the animals in the walk-through part! Um, No. I just had to dump my food through the fence in front of the zebras. I saved up my food until I could see the animals I was excited about, but when we got to the zebras (who were penned up so you couldn't really feed them from your vehicle), we realized that was the end. We never would have spent so much money if we knew that only a fraction of the animals were there. They should tell people this BEFORE they pay so they can make an informed choice. What a GIANT disappointment and a GIANT waste of money! Out of the 20 animals in the brochure, only 6 were available to see. We paid our $70+ dollars (a lot of money for us) with the expectation that we would actually see these animals. I went here on my birthday and was excited about seeing all the animals that were in the brochure. Again, they should have been expected the increase in attendance. I hope we get back there and employees are better informed about what products they offer and how to control traffic. This is where traffic exiting the wild life area has to cross the traffic trying to get into the park. There was an person do called directing traffic at the box office number 2. It took another 1/2 hour to get out of the parking lot. At this point I was disappointed but understanding. We choose to leave the park and try later in the year. An hour later she was no closer the redeeming the voucher than we were an hour before. My wife then when to the gift shop and I stayed in line. I finally got to the ticket boot only to be told they could not assist me and i had to go to the gift shop. I said we had purchased a season pass, I was told I had to wait in the line I was in and to go to the ticket booth. When we first got on the dive and employee said you could go purchase your tickets in the gift shop. My problem was not that, it was the lack of control and knowledge the employees had about tickets and how to move the crowds. This was the increase in the amount of traffic on Saturday because of the lock down, understandable. After two months of lock down, people are willing to get out and do anything. To be fair, this is one of the event that our great governor of Ohio has permitted to be open. I took the family out to the attraction as I've done in the past.
